Teresa Sá Marques is a geographer and PhD in Geography. Associate Professor in the Department of Geography of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Porto and Researcher at the Center for Studies in Geography and Spatial Planning. Has developed research in the following areas: Urban Systems, Networks and Governance (lately, Polycentrism and City Policies); Economics and Territorial Development (lately, ICT, Governance and Regional Development); (Urban change: method application and spatial problems in built environments, with specialization in new approaches to generating and evaluating plans and policies).
